In Namibia, even though the temperature hovers around 80 degrees in summer, Herero women don vibrant Victorian-era dress with long sleeves and petticoats. Their signature dress with complementary headdress is a symbol of their enduring pride for their identity, despite the hardships and genocide  they’ve suffered from German colonizers.
